Information for Creative Arts Companies

CAIN understands that for creative arts companies, raising development or production finance for their project can be a time consuming and exhausting process. The progress of the project ultimately depends upon the success of this fundraising effort.

Like actors trawling the audition circuit in the hope of finding that one big break, hawking your creative arts investment proposition to potential investors takes a huge amount of effort, enthusiasm and commitment, with sometimes little hope of finding the right investor at the right time for your project.

And … how do you know if the people you are speaking to are really interested in investing in your project, and not just wasting your time, or worse - copying your project?

CAIN can help you to at least find appropriate investors for your project and put them all in the same room at the same time. If you can convince us of your creative and commercial potential, then we can give you the opportunity to present your proposition to our investor members.

It’s a tough process though, and you have to be able to satisfy the CAIN that your business and investment proposition is sound before we can recommend that you present to our investors. We only select the companies that we feel have the best chance of raising finance.

If we think your proposition has real potential, but you are not quite investment ready, we will try to recommend someone from our extensive list of contacts that will be able to assist you to reach the next stage.

If you are selected by CAIN, then we will invite you to put together an Overview presentation which will be sent to every CAIN member for consideration. We will offer you some tips and guidance for the presentation of your Overview and only present it to our members when we are sure that it meets the requirements of our members.

The CAIN Investor Members are all self-certified high-net-worth individuals, sophisticated investors or their advisors, with an interest in the creative arts sector. CAIN also has Associate Members, who are sector specialists that can offer professional services advice and assistance with your fundraising activities. We charge our Investors and Associates to be members of the Network, so we - and YOU - can be certain that they are serious about investing.
